It was with sadness that I learned of Doris' passing earlier today. My sympathy to her family. It was my pleasure to judge with Doris at the State 4-H Awardrobe event for many years. She always introduced herself to the contestants as someone who was "as old as dirt!" She may have been the most senior judge by birthdays, but she was young at heart and knew fashion trends very well! I will miss her beautiful smile and spirit but she will remain an inspiration to me.

Our last visit was her surprise visit to Music Man Square & she said it was on her bucket list. What a fantastic person who will be missed by many.
