Our sympathy to the family of Harold Ness. He was a truly kind man who always had encouraging words for others. He talked highly of his family and always wanted to do good deeds for others. He loved to visit on his trips to the local post office. May God's peace be with his family.

To Harold's family: my deepest sympathy for you all as you mourn the loss of your dad. You don't know how much I appreciated him always stopping in to see mom on the farm when she was there by herself. She used to love talking to him for the longest time on his visits discussing new and old agenda's. I remember him always with a warm heart and giving a hug if I ran into him at Hyvee he would always remember me. May all of you find the peace you need to get through the next days.

Harold was always very respectful, a person who wasn’t motivated by the accumulation of wealth or fancy worldly possessions. . He was very knowledgeable; a prime example of a life-long learner. He always expressed a sense of humor. I enjoyed visiting with him, and miss him but his memories will live on. God bless the memories.

My sympathy to Harold's family. I enjoyed visiting him at Longhouse and serving communion to he and Ramona. We always laughed and had a good chat. His favorite question for me was, "are you out looking for lost sheep??" I know Harold had a deep faith in God and that certainly is comforting. We know he is Home with his Lord.

Thinking of you in the loss of your father. Harold always wore a smile and loved to visit whenever we saw him. May your memories bring you comfort, and may God surround you with His peace.

To Harold's family, my deepest sympathy and prayers as you mourn over your loved one. I lived up the street from Harold for 12 years as well as attended Our Savior's Lutheran Church. I knew Harold as a quiet man and enjoyed watching him as he went out for his daily walks. My house seemed to be the end of his path, as he always turned around when he got that far! He might make the trip several times but seldom went farther than in front of my house. Praying for comfort for you at this time of loss.
