So sad to hear of your loss. Your mother was always so nice and comforting to the young brats that lived just down the road, offered great cookies and was willing to sit and chat. If we can be as great for our kids as she was for you, she would be so proud. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

All my memories of Dorothy and the Shellenberger family are warm and friendly ones.
She always had a smile on her face and welcomed all into her home.
My deepest sympathy to you all. Hugs!

Dorothy's obituary is beautifully written....and really encompasses the way I remember her. She's a hard one to say good-bye to. I don't have a memory of her not smiling. She was loved well by all of you.....and many more.

Dear Frank and Mary, I loved reading your mother's obituary. She seemed like angel, so kind and loving. I know your hearts are sad, but your memories are rich. I just want you to know that you both are in my thoughts and prayers, as well as your large family--grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret Toomey
