Judy,
As I believe you know, we were in Nicaragua for ten days so we could not be with you and the family for the services for David. We are so glad that we were there to visit with you and David in the fall. It was nice to be with him while he was in good spirits even though he must have known that his remaining time on earth was short.
For Ruth, her memories of David go back to when he came into this world as her first nephew in 1944. For me, my recollections of David started when Ruth and I were married in 1963. We enjoyed our frequent contacts with him when we visited the family in Iowa. It was nice of you and David to stop by to visit us in June of 2002. Judy, I think that was when you saw your first sand hill crane! Thanks for all of the memories. We know that you will always treasure the years that you had with David.

Deepest sympathy for your loss. I remember David as a nice quiet young man during our school years. Memories are a gift from God to help us cope with our grief. In viewing your video you are blessed with many wonderful memories.
