Todd A. Romo

Todd Allen Romo, 61, of Albert City, Iowa, died on January 8, 2026, at Pocahontas Community Hospital. 

Private family services were held. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City is in charge of the arrangements.

Todd was born April 13, 1964, in Upland, California, to Allen and Lynne (Stark) Romo. Todd graduated from high school in 1982 from Albert City-Truesdale Community School. He went to college in Mankato, Minnesota, before moving back to Albert City, Iowa. 

Todd married Lori (Voss) Romo on June 13, 1987, in Albert City, Iowa. They spent their marriage in Albert City, Iowa, and welcomed their daughter, Jessica Ann, on October 5, 1991, and their son, Justin Allen, on August 1, 1994. 

Todd enjoyed playing his guitar and harmonica, fishing, creating various items, such as fishing lures, and being near the lake. 

Todd is remembered by his wife, Lori; his daughter: Jessica and Robert Sauter and their children: Grayson, Lilianna, and Elowyn of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota; his son: Justin and Caitlin Romo and their children: Allison and Silas of Pocahontas, Iowa; his mother: Lynne Romo of Cumming, Iowa; and his sibling: Kristi and Bruce Blomberg and nieces: Isabella, Alexandria, and Elizabeth of Cumming, Iowa.  

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Allen Romo.
