Rhonda Louise Youngberg

Rhonda L. Youngberg, age 55, of Albert City, Iowa died Monday, August 9, 2021 at her home in Albert City. 

Memorial services will take place Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Albert City. Visitation will take place Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City is in charge of the arrangements. 

Rhonda Louise (Titler) Youngberg was born in Spencer, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald and Karen (Alger) Titler, on August 4, 1966.  As an infant, she was baptized at the Methodist Church in Gillett Grove, Iowa.

Rhonda attended grade school and high school in Everly, Iowa, graduating with the class of 1985. Following high school graduation, she enrolled at the Nettleton Business School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and received an accounting degree.  She was employed at a bank in Sioux Falls before returning to Iowa to begin working at a bank in Des Moines.  Later, she moved to Everly, Iowa and was employed by Ag Partners in Royal, Iowa and Albert City, Iowa.

On July 28, 2012, Rhonda was united in marriage to Todd Youngberg at the Greenville Congregational Church in Greenville, Iowa and became a step-mother to Jonathon and Gerrit Youngberg.

She was a member of the Everly Methodist Church and later joined the Evangelical Covenant Church in Albert City where she served as the church secretary and enjoyed being active throughout the church.

Rhonda worked hard throughout her life.  In her spare time, she enjoyed playing darts, solving Suduko puzzles, Facebook, and horseback and motorcycle riding with Todd. 

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Todd of Albert City; mother, Karen Titler of Everly; step-children: Jonathon Youngberg of Ames, Iowa and Gerrit Youngberg of Cherokee, Iowa; brothers: Michael (Trisha) Titler of Newton, Iowa, Tom (Mayra) Titler of Mont Clair, Virginia and David Titler of Everly, Iowa; father and mother-in-law, Doug and Ebba Youngberg of Albert City, Iowa; sister-in-law, Denette (Craig) Ehlers of Holstein, Iowa; nephews: Matthew Titler, Joshua Titler, Ethan Titler, Noah Titler, Jon Titler, Chayden Wright and Kade Wright; nieces: Jordyn Titler, Callie (John) Bral, and Kyra Hoffman; step-great niece, Lilly Hughes; step-great nephew, Anthony Hughes; aunt, Marva (Doug) Niehbor and other relatives and friends.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Titler; infant brother, Robert Jay, and her grandparents.
