Phyllis Crouch, age 92, of Costa Mesa, California, and formerly of Storm Lake, Iowa died on Sunday, November 5, 2006 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, at Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2006 at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and the service at 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Bethel Towers, 666 W. 19th Street, Costa Mesa, California on November 20 at 6:00 p.m.
M. Phyllis Crouch was born in Liverpool, England on Christmas day 1913. She had been a resident of South Dakota, Missouri, Iowa, and lived in Costa Mesa, California for the last 30 years. Phyllis was an Assemblies of God minister for 53 years. She was a minister and pastor in the South Dakota District.
Phyllis loved to talk about the faithfulness of God. She often spoke of the many miracles she had seen God perform. Phyllis loved to tell the story of how God miraculously healed her from polio that she contracted during the 1952 epidemic.
Phyllis passed away suddenly in Albuquerque, New Mexico and entered into the presence of God. She is survived by her caring brother, Louis Crouch of Albuquerque, New Mexico and two loving sisters, Maxine Gutel of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Esther Bates of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and many nieces and nephews who loved and respected her.
