Linda Chada

Linda Chada, age 72, of Albert City, Iowa died on Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home in Albert City.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City. To watch the recording of the service, scroll to the bottom of the page. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Township Cemetery in Albert City. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Albert City. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City is in charge of the arrangements.

Linda Kay Chada, the daughter of Darold and Phyllis (Wetherell) Brown, was born on May 31, 1948 in Storm Lake, Iowa. Growing up, Linda attended school in Marathon. She graduated from Marathon High School in 1967. 
   
On August 21, 1976, Linda was united in marriage to Charles Chada at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Storm Lake. The couple was blessed with two children, Heather and Phillip. 
   
In her free time, Linda enjoyed camping, crocheting, bus trips, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her coffee time with the ladies. 
   
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles Chada of Albert City, Iowa; children, Heather (Taylor) Boggs of Storm Lake, Iowa and Phillip (Sara) Chada of Fonda, Iowa; brothers, Darold Brown and Wayne (Marilyn) Brown; sister, Sandra Brown; sister-in-law, Marie Brown; grandchildren: Mikala Huegerich, Maci Chada-Huegerich, Dilan Chada-Huegerich all of Fonda, Iowa; Kira (Emmett McCogadh) of Fort Dodge, Iowa; Hunter Boggs and Kayla Boggs of Storm Lake, Iowa; niece, nephews, and friends. 
   
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Darold Brown; brothers, Terry and Dean Brown; and grandson, Spencer Boggs.
