Jeffrey K Mansfield

Jeffrey K. Mansfield, age 65, of Sioux Rapids, Iowa died Monday, July 14, 2025 at his home in Sioux Rapids. 

Celebration of Life services are pending. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Sioux Rapids is in charge of the arrangements. 

Jeff Mansfield was born October 1, 1959 to Kenneth Mansfield and Marjaleen (Samuelson) Mansfield in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended school at Sioux Rapids Community School, graduating in 1978. Jeff went on to attend training to be a bricklayer at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa. He graduated in 1979.

Jeff loved golfing, fishing, and hunting. One could always count on him to be the “life of the party!” In his younger years, Jeff was a bartender in Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

Jeff is survived by his brother: Monte (Cheryl) Mansfield of Austin, Texas and their children: Chris Mansfield and Cary (Emily) Mansfield and their children: Evan and Owen; sister: Ronda Steenblock of Storm Lake, Iowa and her children: Brandon (Karla) Ruffridge and their children: Elle, Shea, and Tyce; Amy (Todd) Huffman and their children: Jack, Mia, and Ava; sister: Nancy Knudtson of Florence, Arizona and her children: Hayley (Mike) Gunderson and their children: Hunter (Katelyn) and Caleb; Brad Knudtson of Sioux Rapids, Iowa and his daughter, Hannah; Jeffrey’s best friend since Kindergarten: Jimmy Truesdell; and many friends.

Preceding him in death include his parents, Kenneth and Marge Mansfield, and brother-in-law: Dallas Steenblock.
