James MacGregor Obituary

James H. MacGregor, age 74, of Laurens, Iowa died Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at his residence.

There will be no services at this time. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City is in charge of the arrangements.

On October 31, 1948, James H. MacGregor was born to John and Thelma (Lee) MacGregor in Minot, North Dakota. Throughout his life, James loved to travel. He was a talented woodworker and restored furniture. James was passionate about antiques and hot rods. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

James is survived by his life partner, Deborah Johnson of Laurens, Iowa; brothers: Dennis MacGregor; Steven MacGregor; Jeff (Pat) MacGregor; nieces: Amy, Traci, and Jody; and his buddy: Brodie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John MacGregor.
