Jairo Andres Ocampo González, age 23, of Tomah, Wisconsin died on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Tomah, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rembrandt, Iowa. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa. Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. all at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Sioux Rapids. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Sioux Rapids is in charge of the arrangements.
Jairo Andres Ocampo González was born on October 4, 1994 in Ameca, Jalisco in Mexico to Arturo Ocampo and Rocio Gonzalez (Garcia) Flores. A year later, Jairo was baptized at the Catholic Church in Ameca. In 2011, he was confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Rembrandt, Iowa.
A year later in 2012, Jairo graduated from Sioux Central High School in Sioux Rapids, Iowa.
Jairo had a love and passion for soccer. His favorite soccer team was Real Madrid and his soccer player idol was Christiano Ronaldo, #7 from Real Madrid. He was always seen with a soccer ball between his feet. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Rocio González Flores of Rembrandt, Iowa; his step-father, Roberto Flores Rodriguez of Rembrandt, Iowa; grandmother, Maria de la Luz Garcia Bojorge of Tucson, Arizona; brother, Roberto Carlos Flores González of Rembrandt, Iowa; sisters: Rocio Flores González of Rembrandt, Iowa; Ana (Kira) Strong- González of Grimes, Iowa; and extended family and friends.
