Inez M Eimers

Inez M. Eimers, age 84, of Storm Lake, Iowa died on June 1, 2021 at Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake, Iowa. 

Funeral Services will be held Monday June 7, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, Iowa. Burial will in the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa. Visitation will be Sunday June 6, 2021 from 5:00-7:00p.m. at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa. A memorial fund in Inez's name has been established. Sliefert Funeral Homes in Storm Lake, Iowa will be in charge of arrangements.

Inez was born September 29, 1936 to Henry and Sophia (Lehmann) Schramm in Garfield Township, Iowa. Inez was baptized in the Concordia Lutheran Church in Webb, Iowa in 1943. She was later Confirmed in 1950. Inez was an active member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Inez went through grade school in Webb, Iowa. She then went on to graduate from Rembrandt High School. Inez went on to have a career as a telephone operator and was also a cook at Ken-A-Bob.

On August 16, 1957, Inez married Everett Leroy Eimers at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, Iowa. Inez and Everett were blessed with 3 children: William, Dale, and Eileen.

Inez enjoyed bowling, fishing, reading, and watching her favorite team, the Iowa Hawkeyes. Inez enjoyed most watching her grandchildren in school and all of their sporting events. Inez loved the memories of holding her great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Kent (Laura) Eimers of Spring Branch, Texas; William (Jean) Eimers of Storm Lake, Iowa; Dale (Susan) Eimers of Henderson, Nebraska; Eileen (Steve) Turnquist of Alta, Iowa; Grandchildren: Matt (Dawn) of Webster City, Iowa; Jeff (Alanna) of El Marge, Arizona; Stephanie (Kyle) Konken of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska; Paula Skala of North Platte, Nebraska; Ariel (Mike) of Sioux City, Iowa; Ethan Eimers (friend Brooke) of Storm Lake, Iowa; Alyssa (friend Jorge) Turnquist of Sioux City, Iowa; Dakota (friend Janet) Eimers of Battle Creek, Iowa; Ali (Mike) Wagnen of North Liberty, Iowa; Alicia Turnquist of Vermillion, South Dakota; Great-Grandchildren: Ayden & Camden; Areylie & Anya Huseman; Jorge Henry Turnquist.

Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Eimers, her parents, Henry and Sophia Schramm, and her brothers, Donald, Rueben, and Waldo Schramm.
