Elijah Scott Lovin

Elijah Scott Lovin, infant son of Zach and Megan Lovin, of Albert City, Iowa, died Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Funeral Services will take place Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Albert City, Iowa. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Sliefert Funeral Home in ALBERT CITY. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City is in charge of arrangements.

Elijah Scott Lovin was born on March 17, 2022 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Zachary and Megan Lovin. His parents were blessed to spend nine wonderful days with him. Elijah lit up whenever he heard the sound of his brother, Karvir’s voice. He was comforted and happy in the arms of his mom and dad. He brought joy to everyone who knew him.

Though Elijah’s time on earth was short, he will live forever in the hearts of his parents, Zachary and Megan (Cleveland) Lovin; brother: Karvir Lovin; grandparents: Scott and Dorie Lovin; Chad and Brenda Cleveland; great grandparents: Robert and Twila Cleveland; aunts and uncles: Alicia (Jake) Heuton; Lucas (Molly) Lovin; Melany (Bryce) Williams; Melissa (Jake) Frye; Matthew (Laina) Cleveland; William (Piper) Cleveland; cousins: Chase, Kade, Tyce Heuton; Isla, June and Malin Lovin; Lydia, Bennett and Andie Williams; Owen and Lincoln Frye; Charlotte Cleveland; many great aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.

Elijah is preceded in death by his great grandparents: Virgil and Annette Anderson; Karl and Colette Lovin; Frank and Phyllis Wood.
