David Ricklefs Obituary

David L. Ricklefs, age 76, of Newton, Kansas formerly of Storm Lake, Iowa died on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton, Kansas.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Storm Lake Cemetery in Storm Lake. Memorials may be directed at Good Shepard Hospice in Newton, Kansas through the website at: www.GoodShepherdhospice.com. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

David L. Ricklefs was born June 10, 1944 in Hawarden, Iowa the son of Garrett and Grace (Hartsock) Ricklefs.

He spent his adult life in Storm Lake, Iowa.

David is survived by his brother-in-law, Leonard Hartje; nieces and nephews: Hadley Hartje and family; Ryan Hartje and family; Michelle Ricklefs and family; Kyle and Kris Hartje; and Danielle Ricklefs.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Daniel Ricklefs; and sister, Dorcas Hartje.
