Darlene Evans

Darlene Evans, age 86, of Storm Lake, Iowa passed May 23, 2021 at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake, Iowa. 

Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa. 

Darlene was born August 6, 1934, the daughter of Nolan and Amy (Erven ) Price, in Sioux City, Iowa.

Darlene attended Whittier Grade School and graduated from East High in Sioux City in 1952.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.

On February 25, 1966, Darlene was united in marriage to Robert D. Evans in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Darlene enjoyed reading, doing crafts, designing and sewing, especially Barbie Doll clothes.

Those left to cherish Darlene’s memories include her daughter Debbie (Duane) Osman of Pinecliff, Colorado, Mike (Diane) Evans of North Sioux City, South Dakota, Jeri Dillavou of Sioux City, Iowa, and Susie Church of Sioux City, Iowa; 12 step-grandchildren, 20 step-great grandchildren and many step-great great grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Evans, parents, and 2 step-daughters, Marggie Ehlers and Sandy Evans.

Darlene will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
