I would like to express my heartfelt condolence to the family of Mr. Hansen. This is truly a sad time and may the God of comfort, Jehovah, be of comfort to you. God promises to resurrect millions who have fallen asleep in death. (John 5:28,29) May his promise of a future paradise and resurrection be of comfort to you.

I am very saddened to hear of Warren's passing. I have known him since about 1969; my brother and i showed ponies, as did Warren. My brother passed away about seven years ago, and Warren provided so much comfort and care after his death.. Warren visited me in August, and we met to attend the National Shetland Pony Congress at Lake St. Louis, Missouri. When he spoke of his brother, he described the relationship as sacred. He was one of the most honorable men that I ever met, and I will miss him greatly. God Bless the family whom he loved with all of his heart.

Brad and family, may God's peace carry you through these difficult days. It has been so good to see and visit with Warren the past many years, either at Threshermen's or at the nursing home while Dad was there and Warren was visiting Norm et al. I still remember getting Duke from him and your dad when I was 12....stubborn Shetland pony!! Let the many memories comfort you all.

It is with great sadness and sympathy that I post this. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Warren, he was interesting, respectful, and knowledgeable, especially when it came to his ponies. May God bless his memory.

Warren was always so cheerful and so positive. It was always nice to visit with him at the Rembrandt reunions. He was so thankful for food given to him from the church there: "They take care of me!" I also happened to run into him in one of the horse barns at the Iowa State Fair.

I was a classmate of Warren’s at Rembrandt High School and remember him as such a nice guy. I was glad to be able to catch up with him at our 50th high school reunion.
My deepest sympathies to Warren’s family and friends.

My wife and I always enjoyed visits with Warren at Rembrandt alumni banquets and on other occasions. He was always positive, smiling, and enjoying life. His hearty laugh is especially remembered. We so admired his commitment to the care of his mother. He was always eager to share special thoughts about Brad and family. His passion for ponies was a life-long pleasure, marked by much success. May the assurance of God's promises give comfort to all.
