Nyine Shwe

Nyine Shwe, age 76, of Storm Lake, Iowa died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. 

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Nyine Shwe, the son of Pahkaw Lah and Mah Thay Kyi was born in Myanmar on January 1, 1942.  He lived his youth in Myanmar.  He was united in marriage to Naw Hae and to this union one daughter was born: Muler Paw.  During his lifetime, Nyine was a farmer.  He came to the United States in 2014 and resided in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Nyine moved to Storm Lake, Iowa in 2015 where he has lived since.  Nyine enjoyed hunting and will also be remembered as a boxer.

Nyine is survived by his family which include his wife: Naw Hae of Storm Lake, Iowa, his daughter: Muler Paw, also of Storm Lake, his grandchildren: Kyaw Rue Pe, Ka Lu Moo, Po Jue, Theing Soe, Hla Shwe, Simeon Seeing and Hser Pey, his great grandchildren: Eh Kler, Tha Moon, EhTha Gay Moo, Nathan Glo Say Moo, Hachtce, Nay Jue and Kendrick Jue, and one sister: Naw Poh of Thailand.
