Jessica Noll, age 39, of Sioux Rapids, Iowa died Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Savannah, Illinois. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Church in Sioux Rapids. Burial will be at a later date in the Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids. Visitation will take place Friday, June 2, 2017 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the First United Church in Sioux Rapids. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Sioux Rapids is in charge of the arrangements. 

Jessica Jo Phelps, the daughter of Franklin and Jolene (White) Phelps, was born in Spencer, Iowa, on October 10, 1977.  Jess lived her youth in the Sioux Rapids community and received her education there.  She continued her education and graduated from the Faust Cosmetology College.

On January 12, 1997, Jess was united in marriage to Garret Noll in Newell, Iowa. To this union, four children were born: Harli, Hayley, Brady and Hannah.  The couple later divorced in 2005.  With the exception of a few years she resided in Storm Lake, the majority of Jess’ lifetime was lived in Sioux Rapids.  For many years she had been a hairdresser and later worked in the security department of Tyson Foods in Storm Lake, and for the past 5 years she has been employed with Rembrandt Enterprises. 

Jess was a person who loved life and enjoyed riding motorcycles, shopping, socializing with her family and friends, and staying connected to everyone she knew via her cell phone and Facebook.  Jess was the “go to” person for doing hair and make-up for her family.  She loved her family very deeply and cherished the times she could spend with her children, granddaughters, mother, sister and friends.

Jess’ life and memory will always be loved and cherished by her family which include her children: Harli Noll (fiancé, Oscar Gracia), Hayley Noll, Brady Noll and Hannah Noll, all of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; granddaughters: Neveah (9), Naylah (7), and Nayelli (1); mother, Jolene Phelps of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; sister, Lori (Mike) Strand of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; nephew and nieces: Cody, Kayla and Kimberlee Strand; other extended family and her many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Phelps.
