Jayne Paulsen

Jayne Paulsen, age 55, of Albert City, Iowa died June 17, 2019 at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pentecostal Church in Marathon. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City is in charge of the arrangements. 

Jayne Lisa Paulsen, the daughter of Marlowe and Myrna (Nelson) Feldman, was born on July 24th, 1963 in Clarinda, Iowa.

In her youth, Jayne attended grade school and high school. After high school, Jayne attended Buena Vista University. While in college, Jayne majored in Psychology, Sociology, and minored in Human Services.

On April 12th, 2003, Jayne was united in marriage to Paul Edward Paulsen in Georgetown, South Carolina. The couple was blessed with one daughter, Harlee Marie Paulsen.

In her free time, Jayne loved gardening, baking, and taking care of sick animals. She loved learning new things and was always eager to learn. She always laughed over the simplest things. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Harlee Paulsen; brother, Kirk (Cory) Feldman; father, Marlowe Feldman; nephew, Buckshot Barry; niece, Kelsie Feldman; great-niece, Taylynn Laux; and extended family and friends.

Jayne was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Paulsen; mother, Myrna Feldman; grandparents, Dave and Stella Nelson; and aunt, Charolette Fredrickson.
