Yosner Sahm, age 34, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died May 5, 2011 at his home in Storm Lake. Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Storm Lake. The Sliefert Funeral Home of Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements. Yosner Sahm, the son of Joseph and Marisana (Sonden) Sahm, was born in Sapwuahfik, Micronesia on September 9, 1976. He lived his youth and received his education in Micronesia. Yosner came to the United States in 2003. He first lived in Monterey, California and then resided in Clearwater, Florida prior to making his home in Storm Lake.  Yosner’s special interests included baseball and fishing.Yosner is survived by his brother, Isoper Sahm of Palm Harbor, Florida; three sisters: Atsiana Benjamin of Monterey, California; Monalisa Palabay of the Philippines; and Carmen Sonden of Micronesia; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Miller; and sister, Glorida.
