.jpg) Inez Rundberg, age 100, of Albert City, Iowa died November 15, 2011 at the Pleasant View Home in Albert City. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Albert City. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa. The Sliefert Funeral Home in Albert City is in charge of the arrangements. Inez Agnes Roehlk, the daughter of William and Nellie (Whitman) Roehlk, was born in Laurens, Iowa on July 17, 1911. She lived her youth and received her education in Laurens, graduating from the Laurens High School. In February of 1933, Inez was united in marriage to Oliver Wills in Laurens, Iowa. Together, this couple was blessed with two daughters, JoAnn and Marilyn Kaye. Throughout their married lifetime, Oliver and Inez were devoted to their farming vocation. They farmed in the Laurens area from 1933 to 1937 and then moved to the current farm, southwest of Albert City, in 1937. Olive died in 1970, but Inez continued to make her home on the farm. She was united in marriage to Pat Rundberg in 1977, and the couple later moved into the town of Albert City. Inez was a member of the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Albert City and had been a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She always took a special interest in tending to her flower gardens. Inez’s memory will be honored and cherished by her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Jerry Stange of Albert City, Iowa; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter; other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; daughter, Marilyn in 1969; and two sisters, Mildred and Vera. Blessed be the memory of Inez A. (Wills) Rundberg. |
