One of my fondest memories was the infamous root beer floats Rick & I would indulge in at Grampa & Gramma Burr's house.
The condolences are endless for Rick was ready to help one and all no matter what the challenges would be. Heaven will welcome him with no questions asked!! Be at peace buddy.

Rick was a nice, fun, concentrate man that had a Big heart for his family & friends. I always loved visiting Sharon & him in Chanute and sharing a few laughs but most of all I was always delighted seeing the love they shared with one another. Praying God gives all of you peace knowing you will share time with him again.

As a high school member of the class of 1963, I wish to add my condolences to you, the family of our classmate, Rick. He was always a quiet strong presence, so I'm not surprised he made some of his life's work that of securing folks' security and safety. May you rest in peace, brother Rick.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

My condolences.
