I was sadden to hear of the passing of Denine. I worked with her over the last 10 years supporting her city accounting software. She was wonderful to work with and a kind soul. I wanted you to know she spoke of her family every time we talked. She was proud of you all and over the years kept me updated on graduations, jobs and babies. There was so much love in her voice when she shared about you.

Denine was my first cousin. I was blessed to see Denine in the hospital a couple days before she passed away. Despite being in immense pain, she was able to recognize I was there holding her hand. I love you cousin and will always remember those chats on Facebook and catching up on life. We always joked that Marathon was the coldest city in Iowa but it'll be the warmest city in the world with hearts filled with joy and appreciation of a life taken too soon on Thursday, Dec 7th.

I have so many memories of Denine, we met in summer softball when I was 11 and she was 12. We were as inseparable as we could be. I think we spent all our time riding bikes, talking and laughing. The summer she was 13 or 14 we started having to ride past the Co-Op so she could get a look at Jim, her folks told her to stay away but she was SO in love with him that she just couldn't stay away. I'm so happy those drive bys turned into a loving marriage and the family she always wanted. Losing her deeply saddens me, I will always remember her as the sweetest, most loving person. My deepest condolences.
